The Dragon's Eye

Hidden amongst the rocks and only visible once the tide starts to recede at Uttakleiv Beach in the Lofoten Islands, is the Dragon's Eye. It's colour changes during the year, due to the algae which forms. It is a challenging and technical image to capture but the effort is certainly worth while. Add stormy seas, snow capped mountains along with good light and you have an image that any photographer would be proud to have in their portfolio.

Canon Premium Fine Art Smooth – A 310gsm paper with a smooth matte finish, which enables excellent colour expression of deep blacks, fine gradation and rich colours.

*Please note, due to the aspect ratio of the image, not all of the paper will be filled with the image. This also allows you space to put a border around the image without losing any of the detail when framing.
