Shifting Sands

The sand on our beaches is being constantly moved by the sea. After a large storm, a beach can be transformed with either large deposits of sand being left, or it can be virtually all stripped away. The last time I visited this beach in Northumberland, the log in the foreground was still there although only the very top of it was visible through the golden sand.

Canon Photo Paper Pro Platinum – A 300 gsm paper with a glossy finish which produces a professional studio finish with superior vividness.
 
Canon Premium Fine Art Smooth – A 310gsm paper with a smooth matte finish, which enables excellent colour expression of deep blacks, fine gradation and rich colours.

*Please note, due to the aspect ratio of the image, not all the paper will be filled with the image. This also allows you space to put a border around the image without losing any of the detail when framing.
