Beckdale

I ranked this image as my second favourite that I took in 2021. As a landscape photographer then only the best of the best images gets into my portfolio. In a typical year, if I can take 10-15 images that I would class as portfolio quality then it has been an amazing year. I found this composition in Beckdale which is only a short distance from the centre of Helmsley. For me, as a photographer it has everything working for it. It looked amazing when i found it, it was quite a simple composition to take and when printed it looked stunning. It is an image that I am very proud of.

*Please note, due to the aspect ratio of the image, not all the paper will be filled with the image. This also allows you space to put a border around the image without losing any of the detail when framing.
