Gone Forever

The top of the largest tree in this image was sadly lost in the storms of 2021. Thankfully, after waiting many years to capture this image, I managed to do so only a few short months before its demise. The Sun is only between the trees for 4 weeks of the year and to make the image work, just the amount of fog is also needed. In landscape photography patience is virtue, which is why it is so rewarding when you finally get an image that you have been after for a very long time.

Canon Photo Paper Pro Platinum – A 300 gsm paper with a glossy finish which produces a professional studio finish with superior vividness.
 
Canon Premium Fine Art Smooth – A 310gsm paper with a smooth matte finish, which enables excellent colour expression of deep blacks, fine gradation and rich colours.

*Please note, due to the aspect ratio of the image, not all the paper will be filled with the image. This also allows you space to put a border around the image without losing any of the detail when framing.
